Day 72 and recipe 66

For a gourmet treat in a jiffy try Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Portobellos (pg 142). A great recipe for a special night. I served them with roasted vegetables and a big green salad.

Today, I went to Plainview Farms in Pownal and found a great selection of potted herbs to start my herb garden. It is a great nursery with lovely display gardens and a huge array of perennials. If you go, take a friend that will help you resist the temptation to buy one of everything. And be sure to visit Lucy and Edna's for lunch on rte 9 as you head back toward Freeport. They are known for their homemade soups and sandwiches. Enjoy...............
